Painting like a Pro--in 3 Hours!

If you've ever wondered how to paint your old, outdated furniture, well then today's post is for you!
At Ramshackled Treasures we are big fans of turning the ugly into something chic and the unwanted into a desirable one-of-a-kind treasure!

First, let's talk about your paint options. There is a variety of different types of products out there, but our favorites are...drum roll pleeease!

Country Chic Paint

Country Chic Paint is a chalk and mineral based paint that is specifically designed for DIYers with a love for refinishing furniture and home decor. This fabulous paint is VOC FREE and contains no harmful solvents.

This chest of drawers received a makeover with Country Chic's 'Vanilla Frosting'

Applying Country Chic paint couldn’t be easier - whether you want to make a new piece look old or transform an old look with new color and style, you will love the beautiful smooth matte finish and all the delicious color choices. If you want to distress your piece, then this is the best paint for the job. You will love how simple it is to create a shabby chic look with Country Chic Paint.

The best part? There’s very little prep work with Country Chic paint, only fabulous results!

Websters Chalk Paint Powder

Websters is a mix of all natural ingredients that can be added to your favorite latex paint-any brand, and color.  Websters can transform any brand of latex paint into a durable chalkboard surface, great for walls and crafting.  It changes an ordinary piece of furniture into an heirloom by simply applying a polyurethane or wax finish.
