Years at RT: Almost One Year What do you create: I re-purpose vintage jewelry, clothing and home goods. I design custom broach bouquets. I am constantly on the go looking for jewelry at flea markets, curbs, estate sales, garage sales and antique shops. Favorite tool to use: A wire cutter. I have invested in three good ones that are always within a few feet or my back pocket. I use them for cutting chicken & jewelry wire, threads and have even used them for manicures. Favorite Junking Spot: My favorite place to go junk'n is at Vick's Corner in Spirit Lake, Iowa. It is a quiet little flea market that has something for everyone. Venders and Junkers come from all over. I can always be spotted either pulling my hot pink with white polka dot bag on wheels. |
